It’s really fun when our Student Ministries here at Mountainview does Missions! We get the experience of the trip-tons of fast food, staying up late, and serving people. If you are currently in 7th—9th grade you are invited on a trip this summer to the inner-city of Dallas, Texas, to work with an organization called Christ In Youth through their program, Know Sweat. We want you to see that everyday, no matter where you’re at, you can serve people and make a difference. How cool would it be if the people we serve down in Texas, or everyday, could see Jesus through our work?

The Know Sweat philosophy is to serve in the communities and connect as a group to be ready to serve when we get back to Mountainview. The Know Sweat work project matches students with work appropriate for their age and skill level, such as painting, cleaning, minor construction, yard work, assisting agencies with their maintenance needs, outreach to the community, distribution of food, serving the homeless, and sorting clothes and essential toiletry items.

Our daily schedule for the week will look something like this:

• Devotions/Breakfast
• Work sites/Lunch
• Clean-up/Dinner
• Main Session/Group Time

Can’t wait to see how God uses the Students at Mountainview to make a difference in His world.

Cost: $435 (includes all meals, lodging, transportation, and activities)

Deposit: $100 due at time of registration.  Remaining balance will be automatically billed on July 24.
