Discerning the Voice of God:  Jan. 26 - Mar. 16, 2010

Having a hard time knowing what God is saying versus what others are saying?  This video based Bible study from author and speaker Priscilla Shirer is designed to help you be confident in knowing and understanding the voice of God.  His language, His character, and His tone of voice will become more recognizable to you.  Deepening your understanding of God's Word will equip you to be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers.  This study is open to all women throughout the entire study.

Who:  All women wishing to grow closer to God by studying His Word.

When:  6:30-8:30 pm Tuesdays from January 26 through March 16
Childcare:  Childcare is provided for registered children on a donation basis.  School aged children can attend Children's Ministries 24/7 Program for the first 90 minutes of the night, then join the younger children in the childcare room.
Cost:  $15 per person or sign up for both classes now and save $5 -- both classes are only $25 when you register for them together!

Me, Myself & Lies:  Mar. 30 - May 4, 2010

Me, Myself, and Lies: A Thought Closet Makeover is a video-driven Bible study for women to encourage them to clean out the junk in their thoughts and replace these hidden negative thoughts and failures with positive truths from God's word. Author Jennifer Rothschild shares practical and helpful insight from her own life and from Scripture to show how every woman can turn her words, and her life, around for good.

Words are powerful. Especially the words women speak to themselves. All too often, what they say to themselves when they lie in bed at night or look in the mirror in the morning is not even close to the words God wants them to speak to their souls. According to Rothschild, what we think about often has a ripple effect on nearly every area of our lives, "This Bible study, based on Jennifer's popular book: Self Talk, Soul Talk, teaches how to replace the lies you may have been telling yourself with the truth from God's word."  This study is open to all women throughout the entire study.
