Five ways to describe me...

I love to laugh, I enjoy biking, racquetball & basketball or just being active with family & friends, competitive (sometimes to a fault), I love to sing (for some reason my family & friends don't always appreciate this), I have been affirmed as an evangelist because I love sharing God's love with my friends.

What do you do for Mountainview?

I am the Front Desk Assistant.  I answer phones & greet people as they come in.  I love people & have always loved this church so this is the perfect job for me!  There is one thing about my job that I am trying to avoid and that is Todd's "mandatory staff cartwheel".

What makes you laugh or cry? (or both...)

What doesn't make me cry?  I have a tender heart, my heart breaks when I hear about someone going through a sad time in their life.  It doesn't matter if I know them or not.  My heart especially breaks when I hear sad things about children.  I also cry during movies, reading Hallmark cards, hearing a touching story... just about everything!  God's amazing love for us makes me cry.  I cry just about every week at church.  On the other hand, I also laugh a lot.  My kids crack me up with the funny things they say and do.  I also love to joke around with my friends.

How do you pronounce the "g" in bologna?

What, there's a "g" in that word?!?  When I was a kid (in Texas) we ate fried BALONI sandwiches and sometimes fried Spam.  Now spam is more well known for computers.

What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?

When I was a child (which really wasn't that long ago) cartoons only came on on Saturdays.  So I would get up at 7 am every Saturday to watch Bugs Bunny, etc.  One Friday night lightening struck our antennae during the night and ruined our television.  I woke my parents up to tell them the awful news.  Not being able to watch the Saturday morning cartoons was a tragic time in my childhood!
